2. Answering this first because it's way shorter: I actually have no clue what an anon list is, but ofc!! You can be galaxy anon if you want, I don't mind :-D (Please do explain what an anon list is to me though lol, because I'm 99% sure I'd be A-okay with doing that)

1. Oooh I have so many!!! List under the cut lol (and I definitely forgot a lot, too 😭)

Let's start off with my most recent, Special Toppings. It's a really funny one and I've read it like, 5 times now. Basically, Edge (undersell Papyrus) hires a stripper while drunk to come to his brother's bachelor party (who Red/underfell Sans is marrying is never stated btw) and it's great. I'd also recommend going through all other fics written by this author. :-) Read it here.

Then, we have Fairytale Complex which is ongoing right now! I'm a few chapters behind at the moment, but as far as I've read it's really good! Basic premise is that you're Frisk's parent, and you're dealing with the monsters and the fact that they hurt your kid. This one gets, like, 29889 bonus points for the reader insert being gender-neutral. Read it here.

This one isn't for everyone, but There's Still Magic is also pretty interesting to me! Major TW for abuse, manipulation and other things like that though, as it's a pretty big theme in the story. Basically, your friend Taylor has offered you to live with her in this big house with her reverse harem of skeleton boyfriends, but it's... not great there for you. Taylor's an ass to the skeletons in the house and they're kept firmly in her manipulative hold, minus Mutt (Rus). The characters are a bit OOC in my opinion, but it's a good fic so I still recommend it! Read it here.

Then, we have ANIME IS REAL! It's really fun and I like it. Basically, Sans shows up at your doorstep (and, mind you, we're in our universe, so up until this point, we've only thought of him as a fictional character) and whoops, now you're in a mansion with the classic gang of skeletons. Very enjoyable. Read it here.

Until That Day Comes is probably my favourite right now, though. It's still ongoing, and I'm really curious to see where it's all headed! Basically, the fic starts with you waking up after... something, and after being missing for a while, with a case of amnesia. As it turns out, you're married to Sans, but you don't remember that at all. While this is going on, you're closing yourself off from all these "strangers" that are trying to help you and searching for your "sister"... I wonder if the sister even exists. Regardless, the plot is immaculate and the drama is to die for. Also the author, Sneakyfox55, has great taste in music and is a real cool person, so I'm just saying it'd be funny if we all pranked them by being real mean and leaving nice comments 🤷 Read it here.

This one is really long - (The Last of the) Real Ones. I feel like telling you too much upfront would ruin the whole fic, so I'll just give you the slightest explanation that is so vague it won't help, but: AU characters are appearing, and you're sent on a mission to collect them. That's all I'm going to say, but if you're the type who likes the reverse harems, this is for you. I really like this one! The reader-insert really isn't my type of character (plus minus points for it being a female reader), but I'm willing to let it slide because the story is so damn good. Read it here.

Super interesting - A Splash of Purple. Basically, you're a witness to a murder and Swapfell Sans is a cop investigating. I can't say much more, but it's a fun read! Still ongoing. Read it here.

All That Jazz. You're a bartender at a bar Undertale Sans attends. I really like the reader-insert (minus the fact that you're decidedly female). Still ongoing. Read it here.

Then we have Blacked Out, which is about Fellswap Sans. You have a one-night stand with him but apparently, you're also soulmates according to him... Still ongoing and only 2 chapters long so far, but I like it already. Read it here.

This one is currently on hiatus - Daughter of Death. It's not my usual type of story, but I seriously like it a lot. I really can't describe it because I'm not sure how lol, but it's good. Read it here.

This one I also have a hard time explaining, especially since it's not finished (and it might be discontinued? It doesn't say it explicitly but it hasn't been updated in years, so...), but Dead Ringer. This one takes place in the usual Undertale Universe. Warning for themes of domestic abuse and transphobia among other things, but the author put up trigger warnings at the start of each chapter with these themes if I remember correctly and I think you can skip those scenes entirely (but don't quote me on that). Sans acts just a bit OOC but that's fine, it's still a good fic so I won't hold that against it or the author. Read it here.

Got Crabs? is another unfairly funny fic that I would definitely recommend. It's a soulmate AU with Red (Underfell Sans) x reader. Read it here.

Bittybones AU!! If You Give a Bittybones a Cookie is really fun. You move into a "haunted" house, but well, it's actually inhabited by bittybones! Read it here.

This one seems to have been discontinued, but My Neighbour Could Kill Me is a fun read! It's pretty short, but regardless, it's interesting. Just know that you're immortal, and the AU skeletons live by the same street as you. Warning for gore and (temporary) death. Read it here.

Of Spells and Illusions is pretty fun too! You're in college and so are the Undertale characters... It's a pretty slow burn, but just know that it's with the classic UT characters, no AU shenanigans here, and it's got a pretty unique premise as all monsters disguise themselves as human! Read it here.

Nostalgia works off the concept of you coming from the normal Undertale universe before suddenly waking up one day in the Underfell universe. Also you've developed magic. It's only 2 chapters long so far (and was last update last year) so it might be silently discontinued, but it's still good so I recommend it! Read it here.

BELLUM.   a note about my headcanons for Chara’s speech patterns ?   well why not-

even when they’re being a bit on the rude side, they speak very formally.   they use big words and structure their sentences to be as grammatically correct as possible.

they also tend not to use contractions if they can help it.   they’ll use possessives like “that is Frisk’s” but they will say “cannot” or “I am” instead of “can’t” or “I’m”, 99 % of the time as a rule.

the formal patterns of their speech are because they learned to read from nonfiction books and classics that were perhaps a bit too mature in theme for them, first nonfiction while they were in the cult and most fiction later on.   the books they used to learn how to read, and the ones they favored once they’d already mastered reading, tended to have immaculate grammar and sentence structure.

the lack of use of contractions is something they picked up from Toriel.   they admire her very much, and because she was often the one taking care of the house and children while Asgore attended to his duties as king to keep pressure off Toriel’s shoulders, Chara spent a lot of time with their mom.   after a month or two, they began to imitate the way she spoke, because they wanted to sound more like her.

if someone listens to the way Toriel speaks, and listens to the way Chara speaks, and puts the pieces together that neither of them use contractions very often, they might think it’s a very sweet realization.

and it is !   Chara loves their mom and takes after her in a lot of ways.   some they do unconsciously, but mimicking her speech patterns is one of the very conscious choices they’ve made.

they retain both of these quirks both as a ghost and as an adult ; as a child, it was the way they preferred to speak, and it’s carried over into adulthood.

Personality: kind, serious, sometimes playful and laid back. Has a strong hatred for some humans but not all, taken pity on chara and frisk. Extremely stubborn, especially in a fight and doesn’t back down easily. Calm, likes to analyse the situation before engaging, rarely loses his temper but is scary when he does. Mysterious.

Skilled: very skilled at using his ice and infusing it with his bones and Gaster blasters, making them able to cause extra frost damage or freeze someone. Skilled with a katana and prefers to use that over magic.

Unskilled: unskilled at dodging on the ground due to his wings dragging him down so prefers to block if he can.

Defects: he has a condition that makes his stamina deplete rapidly when using magic or fighting for a long time. This causes him to nap often but leaves him in a almost permanent state of exhaustion

Habits: he has a horrible habit to steal coffee whether it’s been made or not when he visits Aus. But he also leaves notes afterwards saying so and goes anywhere.

Powers

Blue magic advanced: Typical magic for skeletons but Sans’ being more advanced, being able to lift people and objects with ease. But his blue magic is slightly different as he’s able to grab magic

Ice blasters: His ice infused with his Blaster, causing them to be able to freeze people or the environment in solid ice whilst also doing damage

Bones: he has three sets being normal bones, sharp bones that do extra damage and ice infused bones that freeze when impaled into something or someone.

Glitch waves: can only do this outside his Au. This attack stems from him being glitched out so he’s able to utilise the glitches on his tail into attacks.

Healing: able to heal himself or others using water

Teleportation: able to teleport anywhere in the multiverse and his own au

Speed boost: using his wind element he can give himself a speed boost in flight or running but depends on the wind strength. He can create strong wings if he wishes to.

Shockwaves: able to create waves of his elements. The strength increases on the weather. All elements minus calcification, time and ghost.

Calcification: he can calcify anyone using his eyes but prefers not to after the first attempt during a visit. He only ever uses it in his Judgement State. Calcification element

Intelligence: he’s extremely smart and works things out quickly. He can even formulate different plans during fight and possible get aways. He once created a wormhole machine using traces of inks ink but it overloaded when glitch minions swarmed out.

Intangibility: from his ghost element he can cause himself to be intangible which allows him to dodge attacks, go through walls, people or the ground to escape. His most powerful dodging ability but drains his stamina quick. So only uses it for needed get aways.

Weapon summoning: he can summon blue spectral weapons, mostly swords or arrows, through portals. Mostly used to pin enemies down for a different attack. Metal element

Temporal stop: able to stop time for a short while. Strains his eyes however. Time element

Ice mastery: due to training his ice elemental, Sans can now infuse his ice into almost anything. Being bones, blasters or other elements. This mastery has also affected his body, he’s now cold to the touch, breathes freezing mist when angry and can lower the temperatures to freezing in a room. He gets stronger in cold climates and weaker in hot climates

Super strength: after falling into the void, it allowed him access to super strength and he’s able carry up to 90000 tonnes and able to smash mountains with a single punch. This one, he doesn’t even know that he has it. Yet

History

Before the war and accidents, he loved to help his father with his work so he’s incredibly smart and teaches Papyrus when he has spare time and when his dad is busy. He loves to teach papyrus to cook since he had a passion for it and helped him train for the royal guards as it was his dream. When the war started, he joined and refused to let papyrus join due to his kind nature and knew he would die if was involved. At the war progressed, he tried to protect Asriel from the humans but became wounded on his chest, causing his condition. He always blamed himself for Asriel’s death. The runes started to appear as the war slowly near its end, but he didn’t get his until Gaster offered him and Papyrus homemade runes or “Special” runes as he calls it, making them from human souls and monster dust. Sans tested the runes magic on the same humans who killed Asriel, having been captured, even refused to let papyrus try or even see what he was gonna do. He gained Lv afterwards and during the post war arc, he was a lot different, becoming more laid back and very judgmental on monsters and humans. This led to Asgore making him the Royal Judge for this.

After he spent most of his free time helping Gaster or teaching Papyrus to cook and train as well as giving him lessons on how to utilise his kindness for his attacks as well as visiting other countries, mostly Japan and getting many gifts from there. This is where he got his kimono and katana which were specifically made for him by a friend who was a very skilled blacksmith. Most of his gifts even went to Papyrus like a suit of armour and specially made Kunais. However the accidents occurs and his appearance becomes one of the most changed appearance amongst the monsters, but he also gains knowledge of other aus after falling into the void, seeing the Aus as he sinks deeper into void before being spat back out. This allowed him to enter the multiverse though a portal he found in the ruins which links Legendrune, Quarantine and the Multiverse but found out about the limit he has, being 3 hours and a 24 hour cooldown. This applies to everyone in Legendrune because of the risk of glitching the whole multiverse out if they stayed well over the limit. He’s been working on fixing this so that he could extend the limit or remove it completely, fixing one of the many glitches Legendrune holds. To complete this he travels around collecting parts, talking with Gasters in the void about it and passing the information to his Alphys, where they both work together on the project. He also avoids over sanses during his visit unless they were friendly.

Green

Green is a 12-year-old kid with a soul of kindness, wearing a closed green t-shirt with two green stripes on the front and green shoes. Thanks to the fact that he's the soul of kindness, he is really nice and kind, unlike Frisk, he is really talkative and comments on everything he see with an optimistic point of view. He has the same powers as Frisk, that is, he can use features such as saving, loading, and reset.

Toriel is shaped like a four-legged goat. In her omega form she looks like a rather oddly realistic goat. in the form of the hyperdeath god She looks like a cross between Asriel and UT!Toriel. In her normal form, she wears a purple sweater with a white stripe on it. Toriel mostly acts like a normal Flowey, she is very aggressive and she tries to kill everything in her path, but she can also control her own anger and pretend to be nice. She still has fire magic, but she don't have the ability to reset or save, and she never did.

Muffet

Muffet behaves like Napstablook, she is a very shy spider and stays away from everyone as much as she can, she thinks that because she is a spider, everyone hates her and wants to stay away, there are just other spiders with her. She mostly stays in ruins with spiders, but she lives in an old abandoned cobweb-covered house inside the waterfall and cooks donuts. She looks the same as the muffet, only with a white cover on her. She attacks with cobwebs and tears and can use her 8 hands to push you away.

Mettaton

Mettaton does not change, he still thinks he is a model and has turned the ruins into a showroom for himself and recruited the monsters in the ruins as self-employed. The only change in Mettaton's Appearance is that he wears Toriel's outfit. he still uses the same attacks, but he tries to use them as painlessly as he can.

Chara

Chara lives with her sister Frisk in Snowdin. Since she cannot sleep at night, she sleeps in a place decorated by Frisk during the day with the name 'Chara' written on it or sells 'Frisky' alcohol, but does not drink it herself. Despite being in the role of Sans, she doesn't wear a hoodie, instead she wears black sneakers and a red heart-shaped necklace along with her classic outfits. Chara pretends to be like Sans mostly reckless but she's not lazy, She is quite nice and friendly. She can use red blades, soul bombs and gravity magic. She has a regular red blade and she can use things called FLOWER blasters, similar to gaster blasters.

Frisk

Frisk has a very positive and childish personality as she is in the role of Papyrus. She looks at everything from the good side or tries to look for a good side in that thing. She has a bit of naivety and trusts people a little too fast, but she can still be pretty serious if she wants to. Frisk still wears the same clothes, but with normal shoes and a blue, purple, and red scarf, and a red heart-shaped necklace like Chara in front of that scarf. When Frisk went underground, she was able to do magic, as her souls are affected by magic. Flying sticks can use stars that look like Save stars.

Alphys

Alphys is like Undyne in behavior, she's trying to catch people, but still herself in intelligence. For example, she placed traps all over the waterfall and built robots. She wears armor like US!Alphys, but the armor is yellow. When she's off duty, she wears a yellow shirt and black trousers, unlike US!alphys, there are no scars on her eyes. She has a huge sledgehammer and electric powers, as well as a sting of DETERMİNATİON she received while working with Papyrus, but she has an oath that she will only use it when she dies, as DETERMİNATİON threatens to warp it. When she pricks herself with the DETERMİNATİON needle, she enters the ULTRA-ALPHYS state.

Temmie Dummy is just an angry temmie. She looks like Mad Dummy but has a temmie head.

Papyrus still has the same personality, that is, the great skeleton who is still confident and arrogant but also kind, optimistic and brave, still believing that everyone needs a second chance. He wears a lab coat with an orange stripe that says 'Cool scientist' and goggles on it. He can still use bones and soul mods and can also use the machines he has built to help him.

Sans

Sans is literally normal Sans even though he should be like Mettaton. He has 0% changed, he is still a funny bone man who jokes and likes to drink ketchup, but he is not lazy. In fact, he can't be lazy because like Mettaton he has to be on stage all the time and needs to be an example to young children. Flowey is mostly the same in personality. He still thinks that the whole world is kill or be killed, but this time instead of torturing the whole world, he eats or cooks those who come to a region he has conquered in the CORE. He looks like a normal flower but his petals are purple and it has 8 eyes on his face.

King Napstablook

Napstablook has the same personality but has MUCH more severe depression. In such a severe depression he literally does nothing. He eats nothing, he does not speak, he is not interested in the kingdom, he just cries among the flowers. He looks exactly the same, he just has a crown on his head.

Asgore

Asgore is a ghostly goat that accompanies and guides Green throughout his journey. He's a pretty good person (except genocide) constantly telling Green where to go and how and what monsters can do. He is wearing a sweater with a brown marking on it and black pants. He can still use fire magic and summon a trident.

Asriel

Asriel is the forgotten person in this AU. Although in the role of the forgotten scientist, he never became a scientist. Asriel was a 15-year-old teenager working in the lab before CORE exploded. As the CORE exploded, Asriel fell into it and was forgotten. Now Asriel is stuck in a space outside the timeline and looks like a black molten heap.

Gaster and G Followers

Gaster and his followers are molten monsters living in real lab. They were all working on the CORE before they turned into these creatures, when the CORE exploded the Gaster would fall into the CORE, the G followers saved him but unfortunately when the CORE exploded they became incapable creatures stuck together. Now they are in pain wandering in the True lab.

Monster Kid

Monster kid is the 2nd person who falls into CORE and is forgotten along with Asriel. Monster kid doesn't normally hang around the CORE, but he was curious about what was going on back then so he went to CORE and unfortunately fell into CORE. Now he is in a space outside the timeline with that Asriel. He looks like a Goner Kid but he doesn't have a clasp on his head.

Additional Changes

Real knife, change with the Real pan.

The new house changes to the house of sadness.

The puzzles in Hotland change with the puzzles in Snowdin.

Fun Facts

Green can actually use magic, but he doesn't realize it.

Asriel lived on the surface until he was 12 years old.

Even though Frisk and Chara are non-binary and children in the original game, in this AU they are both girls and Frisk is 19 and Chara is 20.

Even though Asgore is a ghost like Napstablook, only Green can see him.

Frisk is a fangirl for Sans.

Save stars look like green pans.

AU will probably never have a true story but maybe it does have a written one, who knows?

Chara was the 5th human to fall underground, Frisk was the 6th and Green the 7th.

Papyrus helps Sans with a mega-machine on the genocide route.

Fewer humans died than in Undertale (5 people died)

UCOTT have AU versions like Swap, Fell, Fellswap, Swapfell, Dust, Disbelief, Last Breath, Horror, Reaper and Epic.

Instead of judging Green, Chara offers him a deal.

Chara and Frisk can still use determination.

Mettaton has turned the ruins into a gigantic workplace for himself. Even the monsters that live there work for him.

Only other monsters can kill ghost monsters in this AU.

This AU was originally a ship AU focused on the Charisk ship. The ship was removed from AU in 2019.

When the AU first came out, it looked the same as the Chara storyshift (pre-boot) version but has been changed.

I was an angry bean but also very fucking nervous?? and really sweaty. i was 99% sweat, I remember being really fucking nervous at my sentry bc of the possibility of getting in a fight and getting yelled at by undyne. I remember being really stressed and angry and stuff but like I get really attached to people anyways, Papyrus was a rlly good brother and helped me relax n stuff. We’d have to pretend to hate eachother outside but at home we’d hang out. I also remember me n frisk above ground would draw a lot and put stuff on the fridge and decorate the whole house until pap got home to tell us to stop bc we were making a mess but he’d end up joining with the fun. I remember being very weary and unsure of flowey but I grew to like him. I have some other random memories but i’dhave to look thru some tags to find em.

Fresh

I was weird basically. I’m less underfresh and more of lucidia Fresh but still its there basically the same boy. Anywho i was extremely unemotional but like I tried to show emotions and like talk to people but they were very numbed down? and Like i had a lot of problems. also I was fucking ADDICTED to candy. like i’d go nuts if it was offered to me. I remember really being close to an Error and like idfk if he hated me but like I miss him and i loved him. Also i’d hug basically anyone who said hi to me.

Classic

I was boring and in dissociation land. I was also obsessed with Pins and I had a ton of them on. It made me feel happy to have them on. I had a lot of anxiety problems I think and Papyrus had to help me through a lot of stuff. I put a lot of weight on his shoulders I think. I remember having a lot of nightmares and like being just really not great. I was close with toriel and alphys and I remember becoming friends with Frisk after forgiving them for some bad resets. I also learned at some point that pap remembered the resets and I felt bad bc he then knew when people died I basically did nothing. I loved coffee too, and I was very emotionally distant. I started getting help on the surface I think though. I also thoroughly remember pap having to stop me from jumping in the river bc someone dared me too.~~

Horror

Horror was weird bc like I was extremely fucking scary and like I would do bad things without thinking but like everything was all fuzzy and like i couldnt think straight? Sort of just acting on impulse. I was rlly happy to help my brother do anything bc i love my brother in all au’s tbh. also when i wasnt eating people I’d eat like things that people shouldn’t eat?? usually my ssans’s cant eat anything except monster food but Horror could eat anything I’d straight up eat metal and like glass and it was honestly terrifying?? I also know that while I was awful I was really easily attached to people? Like If someone was nice to me and made me not want to kill them I’d hang onto them with my life. And I was hella cuddly. I remember being good friends with a Fresh!Sans and we’d hangout and cuddle. I don’t think it was romantic at all but we’d hold hands and he’d give me stuffed animals. Which is how I also realized I was really fucking into pink stuff and aesthetics and like. I gotta a bit better after that? I don’t know if I got to the surface but I know I always regretted anything Awful I did.

Social infrastructure is the glue that binds communities together, and it is just as real as the infrastructure for water, power, or communications, although it’s often harder to see. But Eric Klinenberg says that when we invest in social infrastructures such as libraries, parks, or schools, we reap all kinds of benefits. We become more likely to interact with people around us, and connected to the broader public. If we neglect social infrastructure, we tend to grow more isolated, which can have serious consequences.

The broken windows theory of policing and crime is a classic essay by James Q. Wilson and George L. Kelling. It said that when there are broken windows in a neighborhood, people perceive the broken windows as a sign that no one is organizing the neighborhood — meaning those intending to commit crimes would feel like they could get away with it there.

The broken windows theory was used as a justification for bringing lots more police into poor neighborhoods. It led to stop and frisk policing and zero tolerance policing because of the belief was that if there’s disorder, then you need to make sure that there’s extra help to keep criminals from committing crimes. This was a big reason for why we have a system of mass incarceration that has transformed the United States, especially poor neighborhoods.

Having spent a lot of time thinking about the power of social infrastructure and physical places, Klinenberg asked himself this question: what would have happened if we had responded to broken windows not by sending in so many police officers, but instead by fixing the windows?

It turns out, someone at the University of Pennsylvania had been asking a similar question. This person teamed up with the city of Philadelphia which has tens of thousands of abandoned properties and empty lots. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society started an exciting social science experiment, and for more than a decade have been making simple interventions to randomly selected blocks. If there was an abandoned house they would board up the building to prevent squatters or potential drug dealers from using the property, and mowed and maintained the yard.

How was Basic's comic going to end?

[Here's the last update I did] Basic... well, his Glitch has opened a portal to Underfell without realizing it.

This is the continuation:

So, time passes and Ink and Basic become friends. Ink gifts him a sketchbook to draw on and the first thing he draws are his non-existent friends as he remembers them, as Lost Souls with a blank sprite (as we see here in the last panels)

END OF CHAPTER 1

Will I ever finish this comic? I hope to remake it after I make Underwizard's prologue! (I'd also change some scenes)

What are the other chapters about?

The other chapters had no real connection. One was about Basic meeting Classic!Frisk 99 and how they became friends.

One was about him meeting Physis!Alphys and Clone!Frisk.

I even had a chapter about him ending in Underwizard (after the ending) UW!Sans frigging kidnapped him lmao??

And one chapter was about Basic meeting Fatal_Error! After a quarrel and a fight they were going to become… friends…? Basic's code is a bit too messed up, so Fatal would've had no interest in copying and killing him.

I made a very old lazy sketch of the battle scenes, here's a part of it:

And then... the final, ending chapter. (Please read Basic's current reference sheet to know better what happened to his AU)

In this chapter, Basic would've found out that his creator remade his AU from zero after all the previous files got corrupted.

He looks exactly like how Basic remembers himself before getting corrupted (it's all a bit confusing, sorry) but without his face being covered, and with Classic!Sans personality.

When Basic finds out his new self has a brother, friends, and a whole universe for himself, all his jealousy and sadness comes out.

As he yells his frustrations at his other self (very rare moment you'd see Basic's anger) the Glitch detects the same codes as Basic in this new universe.

It takes over Basic's body and starts spreading through the AU. The monsters he touches freeze, their codes can be seen through them, they become blurry and turn grey.

The Glitch is intersecting in this world's code, taking away from Basic his ability to shapeshift, but also the problem of glitching and bugging.

When it finishes, Basic regains control over his body and realizes what he has done.

Time passes, he lives in that freezed universe as its guardian. It attracts many curious visitors and enemies as it's glitches can be seen miles away. However, as Basic can no longer shapeshift, it is harder for him to defend it.

Finds out the Annoying Dog of that AU is the only one not freezed. It brings Basic to Gaster, in Snowdin's forest.

Surprisingly Basic can see Gaster even outside of the Void, the Glitch really messed up that universe. But now that someone who can interact with the material plane can finally see and hear him, Gaster can find a way to fix all this.

Basic has to enter the world's code and delete the anomaly, aka the Glitch. The Annoying Dog has access to everything in that universe as it is its creator, so it gives Basic access to the world's code.

He enters it (not physically, just with his mind) and finds the Glitch, a big skein of white glitches.

No attack seems to destroy it, the only thing Basic can do is take the Glitch away from the world's code. He grabs it, drags it away and pushes it back into his own body. He begins to glitch again, very hard. Then, silence.

The AU's code seem to be back to normal, and so all the monsters aren't freezed anymore.

Sans invites Basic to stay in his universe, but he refuses, he doesn't belong there.

He returns to his island, finally knowing that his AU isn't completely gone after all, and he'd start to like being so glitchy because it's not only a curse, but a power as well.

No happy ending for Basic?

This was to be his happy ending. He would finally live his life without pretending to be someone else, realizing that he doesn't need to be Sans to be himself.

But now he has Ruby, thanks to him Basic finally accepted himself for who he is. This is now his story and his happy ending.

The meaning behind Basic is, you can be yourself and still appreciate yourself and be appreciated by others without masking who you are.

How did I create Basic?

Weeeeell I was drawing a chibi version of all Underverse Sanses (ignore the fact that Fresh, Dream and Nightmare aren't Sanses °cough cough°) so before starting I made a "base" to draw on all the chibis.

This gave me the idea of a Sans that can shapeshift into all other Sans because... he's literally a base!

The first prototype of Basic had an empty soul and was emotionless, this because he was supposed to copy other Sanses personality. But I LUCKILY changed my mind and gave him his own cinnamon roll personality ♡

-Genocide- After attacking him 3 times his Glitch makes him parry your attack and save his life. He saw you kill many monsters in this timeline, so he decides to stop you.

In phase 1 he dodges all your attacks and shapeshift into different Sanses to use different attack patterns.

While in phase 2 you hit him, but he turns his soul into a human red soul, this gives him 20 more HP. He shapeshifts to look more monstrous, he uses his last energy to try and stop you.

And this is the genocide ending: (fight) Basic: °miss° °he must shapeshift back to normal. now you can see the cut on his chest again. he's exhausted.° °he blocks you in a wall of blue attacks° human… i’ve never tried this hard on a fight… i think i’ve gone too far with my games…… i... i d-don’t feel myself anymore… i’m pretending to be like sans… …i mean, the one you know… t-this is SO DUMB ISN’T IT?? °sobbing° heh heh… i-i really thank you human! you gave me the possibility to… t-to be part of this! i was showing to you… to me… that i can be someone! °a crack opens on his skull° Basic: i-i can be so many people… but i could never be myself... goodbye human… p-please don’t be too hard on the other monsters around… °damage noise. he coughs° Narrator: * End his suffering =)
